Tamar Charney, News and Stateside Producer Tamar joined Michigan Radio in 1997 as reporter, producer and news anchor. She directs the Arts and Humanities Project that presents thinkers and cultural trends here in Michigan. Tamar is also one of the producers of our weekly show, Stateside.  She has also worked at WDET and WEMU and has done a variety of freelance work, including documentary production for NPR. To recharge her batteries, Tamar hikes, sails and hits the local beaches.
